Coastal Cities Environmental Sanitation Project

BNE is working as subcontractor for the Joint Venture of Louis Berger Group, Inc., USA / Nippon Koei Co. Ltd., Japan. The project includes the preparation of Feasibility Studies, Conceptual Design, Detailed Design, Tender Documents and an adviser function to the local consultants and authorities for the implementation of Sewage Treatment Facilities and the implementation of a Waste Management System for the Coastal Cities of Nah Trang, Quy Nhon and Dong Hoi.

BNE was responsible for all Waste Management related parts of this project. BNE conducted Feasibility Studies for the Waste Collection Systems, Transfer Stations, Transport Systems, Recycling Systems and for the necessary Disposal Facilities of this project. It also prepared the Basic Design and Detailed Design for all components of these facilities. BNE was also in charge of the preparation of the Tender documents for all above mentioned tasks of the project. Furthermore, BNE initiated possible CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) utilization for the plant disposal facilities and designed a Landfill Gas collection system for the Sanitary Landfill of Nah Trang and its former dump site, which would satisfy all requirements for efficient gas collection and utilization to generate sufficient and economical viable CER’s.

The project started in 2005 and would be ready for Tendering in late 2006.
